Nuffnang – A Blog Advertising Community that REALLY pays

Nuffnang Cheque

I’ve been blogging for like almost 8 months now, seen many bloggers sharing Nuffnang cheques on their blogs. Just thought that I shouldn’t miss my first cheque too.

Nuffnang - Asia Pacific’s First Blog Advertising CommunityBeing a “not-so-new-blood” in the blogsphere, I’ve ran through many different advertising networks. I ended up with Nuffnang because I was impressed with the excitements and fun they bring to their 80,000 bloggers each and every week. They’re so happening that I wanna be a part of their community!

I have written over hundreds of posts in the past 8 months. From a very newbie blogger, to a…err newbie blogger. I’ve learnt so much from the Nuffnang community on ways to express myself through blogging.

The Monster Dell Precision T3400 or The Beast Apple Mac Pro?

apple-versus-dell

Couple weeks back, my very-old-hag desktop computer has decided to die on me without a proper farewell. Leaving me with no choice but to make a tough decision between the ‘Monster‘ and the ‘Beast‘.

Being a hardcore multi-task user, I have strong believes in Dell’s product quality and performance. Since my dream machine is way far from my budget. At this very urgent timing, I had to once awhile choose Dell.

In order to make sure things work well this time, I’ve decided that I should get a Workstation instead of normal desktops.

I need something that will give high performance, doesn’t shut down my Photoshop in the middle of drawing and doesn’t melt the graphic card’s fan(my Radeon 9800XT has both its fans melted). On top of that, I’d love to have a bigger, wider workspace. You can imagine how annoying and time consuming to switch between browsers to compare the output results and the compatibility in one not-so-wide screen.

Eye-ing around the workstations list on Dell’s website, I’ve decided to give Dell Precision T3400 a go. Being the middle range priced workstation in the list, Dell Precision T3400 has the attractive basic specs before customization.

  1. Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad Q9550 (2.83G/1333FSB/12MB)
  2. Genuine Windows Vista® Business & Windows XP® Professional (both 64bits edition)
  3. 8GB (2×4GB ) DDR-2 800MHz ECC Dual-Channel DDR2 Fully Buffered DIMM
  4. 1TB SATA HDD (7.2k RPM)
  5. 48X/32X/48X/16X CD-RW/DVD Combo Drive
  6. 256MB PCIe x16 NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290, Dual DVI, Dual VGA and DVI+VGA
  7. Broadcom 5721 Gigabit Network Card

Just look at the basic ‘Monster’ specs! All I need to do are just some minor customizations and everything’s good to go!

I waited 6 days(included weekends) for the 39 lb(that’s roughly 18kg) ”Monster’s Arrival”, then  Read more about – The Monster Dell Precision T3400 or The Beast Apple Mac Pro?

The Princess Birthday

Happy Birthday to you~

Tee hee! Gigi turned 3 on the 16th of June 2009! Her papa & mama decided to celebrate her birthday during the night time. They went to grab some lots of treats for Gigi as birthday present on that day.

Gigi - The Baby Girl

Can’t believe time passed this fast, Gigi has stepped into our life for three years now. From the cute little puppy to an all grown up 21 years old woman(3 doggie years equals to 21 years human life). She’s now at the legal age for drinking and clubbing! :)

I’ve been wondering, if Gigi actually knows that’s her birthday? She seem to feel very excited about the food instead. She’s also a fan of hard boiled egg. So on this special occasion, sis prepared a hard boiled egg for her pleasure.

Somebody please tell me what's going on?

So she can have extra Ceasar and a hard boiled egg on her birthday night. See how excited she is? :)

Why is my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic so Powerful?

I’ve been using Nokia 5800 XpressMusic since it launched in the Malaysia market. Being a techie guy, getting a mobile phone that comes in handy on my daily life is essential.

Staying connected and getting updated from my clients, friends and family is an important routine on my daily life. There are times when I needed to send an e-mail to my client on the work progress or simply updating my friends on weekend meetings.

These simple tasks are no longer simple if you’re not able to reach a computer. With Digi unlimited data plan and a fully geared Nokia 5800 in hand, I no longer have to worry about not being able to stay connected with my clients or my friends.

My Fully Geared up Nokia 5800

Here’s the homescreen of my Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. I’m using HandyShell to customize my homescreen if you wondered how I did that. HandyShell allow me to customize/add more shortcut buttons on my homescreen. I have added shortcuts for applications that I often use for quick access. Just one touch on the homescreen, and I get what I wanted to get updated with. Just as handy as its name says it!

Google Map on Nokia 5800

Gmail on Nokia 5800

The mobile Google page allows me to get my Gmail and Google Map installed easily. Just go through some simple installation process, I’m now able to read my emails anywhere at anytime. Visit m.google.com on your mobile phone to get the applications installed ok!

Google Map on my Nokia 5800 works pretty well with the built-in GPS system. I’m able to search for a street name or even a business name to reach the location I might not been to! The Google Maps on my Nokia 5800 simply show me the routes to reach my destination.

Now I have no worries of getting lost in the Penang Island when I can look for my ways through Google Map or send an email to ask for help through the Gmail Application!

Of course I’m not done with getting the most out from my Nokia 5800. I have this habit of updating my status from time to time on my Twitter if I find them interesting.
